Yellow rice in finished rice not only affects the commodity value of rice, but also affects the health of consumers. It should be removed as far as possible. Since there is no difference in general physical characteristics between yellow rice and normal white rice, it is impossible to remove them by conventional cleaning methods. Only the difference in color and reflectance between yellow rice and white rice can be used to remove them by photoelectric colorimetry methods and equipment.
