Physical impurity removal refers to the method of removing impurities through the physical characteristics of quartz without changing the material molecules of quartz. There are six physical impurity removal methods for quartz: mechanical scrubbing, flotation, magnetic separation, gravity separation, color separation and ultrasonic wave. Quartz sand color sorter
Flotation method
1. Principle: Flotation is to use the natural or modified hydrophobic surface of the mineral to make the mineral particles collide with and adhere to the bubbles through stirring, and then the bubble loaded mineral particles float to the bubble layer to achieve the purpose of mineral separation.
2. Methods: Flotation with and without fluoride. Flotation with fluorine is carried out with hydrofluoric acid (HF) as regulator and amine as collector. Fluorine free flotation is to use dodecyl propylene diamine (abbreviated as dodecyl amine) as collector for flotation under acidic conditions regulated by hydrochloric acid or sulfuric acid.
3. Effect: Quartz flotation can remove mica, feldspar minerals, clay minerals, iron bearing minerals, etc. associated with quartz ore. in addition, flotation can also remove mechanical iron mixed during crushing and grinding.
4. Equipment: flotation machine
The quartz acid pickling waste liquid enters the regulating tank through the drainage pipe to fully regulate the water quality and quantity of the acid pickling waste liquid. The regulated waste water is lifted to the acid-base reaction tank by the water pump, and alkaline substances (caustic soda, sodium bicarbonate, lime, etc.) are added to neutralize the acid pickling waste liquid. While adding, it is stirred. After acid-base neutralization for a period of time, the upper layer of the reaction tank flows freely into the sedimentation tank at night, and the water quality is detected after sedimentation, Discharge or recycle after reaching the standard.
