The color sorter is a new type of machinery that makes use of the optical and colorimetric characteristics of materials to nondestructive detect defective products and sundries with abnormal colors or surface defects from materials, and automatically sort and remove them. It comprehensively applies new technologies such as electronics and biology, and is a typical high-tech equipment integrating optics, machinery and electronics. At present, the domestic color sorter market is dominated by products from Japan, South Korea, Italy and other countries, most of which are photocell color sorters, and the quantity is ccd color sorters. No matter from the perspective of technical development or market demand, the research on ccd color sorters is of great significance. Therefore, the author has made an experimental study on the sorting control system of the color sorter with CCD as the detection element. The sorting control system is mainly divided into two parts: CCD detection system and sorting system. This system greatly improves the resolution and accuracy of signal processing.
