Compared with the foreign color sorter industry, the Chinese color sorter industry started late, but developed very rapidly. High product prices and imperfect after-sales services seriously affected the development of the domestic grain processing industry, which made it urgent to develop domestic color sorters. In the middle and late 1990s, domestic private capital began to get involved in the research and development and manufacturing of color separators. After years of intensive research and hard work, up to now, domestic enterprises have mastered the core technology of producing color separators, and their products have gradually occupied more than 70% of the domestic market share. With the increasing amount and proportion of industrial enterprises' investment in the R&D of color sorter machinery, the ability to promote technological innovation has been enhanced, and the product performance has gradually caught up with or even surpassed that of similar foreign products. While the overall level is constantly improving, the market scale of China's color sorter industry is also expanding. At the same time, from rice color sorter to beans, peanuts and other miscellaneous grains color sorter, to tea color sorter, the application range of color sorter in the field of agricultural product finishing is constantly expanding, covering almost all agricultural products.
